If you like training with a friend or small group, Heart of a Champion also offers semi-private training for those people who get more out of otheir workout by competing. Semi-private training is typically 2-4 people with one trainer. Semi-private training is more cost-effective than the traditional 1 on 1 training and is popular amongst friends, family members and co-workers.

Russ Malloy

Russ Malloy is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) providing personal training and strength coaching to individuals, athletes and teams of all ages and abilities. He founded the strength and conditioning company Heart of a Champion to assist athletes and non-athletes to achieve a wide variety of goals.

For over 10 years, he has trained countless individuals and served organizations including the NSCA Basketball Special Interest Group, The University of Iowa and the Colorado Stars Softball Team. As a CSCS strength coach and personal trainer he applies his skills and experience to educate athletes and parents about scientifically proven training techniques to improve athletic ability and sports performance.

Russ Malloy lives in the Boulder Colorado area where he strength coaches amateur athletes in Basketball, Softball, Football, Hockey, Soccer, Tennis, Highland Game and Strongman Events, Olympic Lifting, Brazilian JiuJitsu, Muay Thai Kick Boxing, and MMA. He also trains and competes himself in the Scottish Highland Games Heavy Events and Brazilian JiuJitsu.
